1. Acceptance
By creating an account or signing in to ShopBuddy you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
ShopBuddy is a small utility that lets individuals and families create shared shopping lists, plan items at home, and tick them off in stores. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, while it remains in an early/personal stage.
3. Account
- You sign in via Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
- You must be 13 years or older.
- You may invite people you know to your family. Do not invite or impersonate people without their consent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for illegal activity or to harass, threaten, or harm others.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass the access controls of the service.
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property or violates privacy.
- Use the service in ways that disrupt or abuse the underlying infrastructure (rate limits, automated spam).
5. Content you create
You retain ownership of the lists, items, and messages you create. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, display, and sync that content inside the app to you and the family members you have invited.
6. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without liability to you. We will give advance notice in-app where feasible.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account, email huyhoang2809@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the service or other users.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided AS IS, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, or any loss of data arising from use of the service. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the service.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the new Terms.
